Polymnia
I sailed high, now I sail low
Way down beneath the sea
Where time and money don’t float
So I take my eyes
And pry them right off the prize
I’m melting in the sweet sunshine
And finally I realize
Prytania, Polymnia
These women of God
These bodies of water
And a song thrown up to heaven
I’ll be free and I’ll survive
I’ll be free as I’m alive
By water, I sing to the sky
And though I remain
Ah look me change
All the grids and grey foundations
Making me feel like a slave
Through the long, long wait
Oh how I pleaded and I prayed
But you can leave me here and forget that fear
There is nothing more left to crave
Prytania, Polymnia
These rivers of God
These bodies of water
And a song thrown up to heaven
I’ll be free and I’ll survive
I’ll be free as I’m alive
By water, I sing to the sky
